Abortion

http://thechart.blogs.cnn.com/2012/02/22/no-abortions-for-women-then-no-vasectomies-for-men-lawmakers-say/?iref=allsearch
In this article attached it is expressed that abortion should be prohibited to women twenty weeks pregnant or over, and vasectomies should not be given to men unless it is a life or death situation. People believe that a child should be granted the opportunity to be born and loved instead of being killed without the chance to choose to live. Personally, i agree with the views or medical doctors and the other people that created the article but to a certain extent. I think everyone should be able to plan out what steps they want to take in life, and if it includes not having children they should be able to have what they want done to their bodies to prevent that. To me, a child is created when an egg and sperm are fused together and creates a new life that will grow and develop. If its just sperm and eggs seperate, then i think it would be okay to have a medical procedure done. However, i am against abortion because by the time you find that there is a baby inside of you, it is alive and if you choose to abort it you are killing it. Even if the baby is small and not completely developed, it is still alive and it still deserves a chance to live. No one should be deprived of the chance to live and for those who don't want their children give them to someone who does want them because they can't have them. If you have the ability to bear children, you have the ability to give life, don't abuse the privilage. So to my followers, tell me what you think about abortion and give me your opinion on it.

I'm not giving it up....

Have you ever thought about something you can’t live without? If not just read mine and reply later. One item I refuse to give up is a necklace my dad gave me. I’ve worn it during a variety of moments in my life that were very special to me. Every time I wear the necklace, something very good happens and I mature a little more. I’ve worn it through a lot of my first experiences that I’m not going to elaborate on. I don't know if it's ironic or not but that necklace is very special to me and I would never give it up because it's like a memory holder to me. Another thing that's an indispensable possession of mine is my mind. It holds everything I’ve ever been through, every thought, every opinion, creative thought, and everything else that makes me. I mean can you imagine not being able to think for yourself or not be able to control anything in your life because you don't have a mind? I wouldn't even be the person I am without it because it's the most essential part of my being. now since you've read about my indispensable possession what's yours?

should i remember you?

Recently in class, the topic "should you be remembered when you die even if you've done something bad was brought up. It was said that Barack Obama is being talked bad about because he paid tribute to Whitney Houston and her family. They talked about him because they think that since Whitney did drugs and messed herself up, she shouldn’t have been recognized because she did something bad. I believe everyone should have their condolences paid or at least be honored because no one is perfect and everybody had done at least one good thing in their life time. So I think the people talking about Obama are wrong because they have no right to judge Whitney Houston. She deserves the praise for being such a great singer and all good things that she has done. Yes she ended up messing up her career with drugs but she tried to come back and do well, but she's human and not perfect. No one has the right to judge anyone because they've done bad things too and would like to be appreciated when they die.

love quote

love is like the human race. it has multiple purposes.

there are many meanings for love and it's used in many ways. just like every human has a purpose in life, love has a purpose for many as well. love can be for friends, relationships, a deep desire for something, or a common passion shared with family. people use the word love often and most of the time when it's mentioned, it is used in a different way. for example, me telling my mother i love her is a different love than i may have with my boyfriend. i love both of them but in a different way. another example is when i would tell one of my friends i love them and then turning around and saying i love cheer. both ways are expressing a different love but its still love. love, no matter what way it's used, it has the common meaning of having an affection for someone or something.

sixteen and pregnant

recently on the news there has been a spike in the HIV/AIDS rates among young women. i believe the reason for this is because many girls think it's cool to b e pregnant or it's not a bad thing to be young and pregnant. i think the show sixteen and pregnant ids the cause of this partly. on the show many girls are shown pregnant and after they have their babies, they move on with their lives and do okay. yes, these girls go through personal issues during and after pregnancy, but the show does not give the message that it's not particularly good to be a child with a child. personally, i don't want kids right now because i have a life to live.with having kids, you have to give up a plethora of things until your child is up and out of your home. i want to experience some things and be settled and be married before i have any offspring. i believe a child can't raise another child because they haven't experienced enough to give wise information.
